Petrichor (meaning the smell that follows the first rain) is a video work that was created for the show ‘Mattanchery’ curated by Riyas Komu. The place in this work is a network of canals in Fort Kochi-Mattanchery that has been witness to exchange of good, cultures and ideas over centuries. The inauguration of the installation was done in the presence of the artist, Vipin Dhanurdharan at 5PM at LuLu Mall, Kochi.
